We are always looking for stories for our publications. Submit written stories, photos, videos, or ideas for articles. Here are some topics that make for great stories:
- Models of Sound Mind and Sound Body
- Examples of Virtue, Diligence or Brotherly Love
- Successful implementation of SigEp best practices
- Partnering in higher education
- Leadership in the community or the workplace
- Alumni with career success or unique occupations
- Anything unusual or interesting
- Pieces accompanied by captivating photos or videos
Follow these guidelines to help your story get published
- Provide your name, e-mail address, and phone number so we can follow up with you
- Keep submissions to 200-500 words
- Be specific about the connection to SigEp. How has your chapter exemplified the cardinal principles, mission, and/or vision of the Fraternity? If you are an alumnus, how has your SigEp experience contributed to the subject of your article or story idea?
- Include quotes
- Identify name, school and graduation year for everyone in the story (and photos)
- Send in-focus, high resolution photos
- Alert us before a major event takes place so we can provide guidance on how you can best cover it
- Please remain objective and accurate
- Writing in third person is preferred
- Follow rules of the Associated Press Style Guide
